  it all depends on if he's getting to his meetings. is he getting to his meetings? is he prepared? does he comment? what about his field service? is he getting his time in? brothers, if we are getting to our meetings and staying regular in the ministry, then we wont have time for worrying about changing a lightbulb. worldly people have so much time on their hands that they are always changing lightbulbs. apostates buy them in bulk. but we find our light at the meetings, bookstudies, assemblies, conventions, and in the service... and if we go home to a dark house, we are thrilled. thank u.

  basically this is the point:.

  "it is important for us to be at the meetings so we can be reminded about coming to the meetings.".

  i think for most men, it was gesturing to an audience while trying to make it look natural.

  20 years ago..a talk concerning field service..sisters crying..eyes opened

  well i can't recall now which public talks it was - one of my first - and it dealt with field service / preaching.

  so i thought i would interview several people in the congregation about service and their thoughts and feelings on the subject, expecting something very different than what i got.

  to my shock (i was an over zealous young buck who thought the sun rose and set on the wt) three sisters burst into tears as they told about their feelings of inadequacy and guilt over field service.

  i think i would have lied and said i enjoyed it when it was productive... which i guess is the truth for anything. the problem is that door to door is less than 1% productive, so it becomes not JUST scary and humiliating, but disappointing.

  there's a book made with all the references and information for the whole year.

  i usually do my research every week, but if anyone could make my life a little more easy i would greatly apreciated.. .

  someone does offer to send you a copy make sure they're not an apostate.

  apostates dont own computers silly. they are all too drunk and high and busy making signs with gibberish on them. they are barely even human... i would be surprised if they could read or write or speak proper english. i wish you wouldn't have even brought up that word apostate. they sicken me and make me want to murder them before Jehovah gets a chance. i loathe them more than satan. at least satan was a goodlooking angel. these people are ugly inside and out.

  Weird Logic

  let's hear the weirdest comment or suppossed logical thought you've ever heard a witness say.. i'll start: out in service once a sis and her son were in the same car group as i was.

  he was having a nose bleed and told his mom that the blood was running down the back of his throat.

  his mother said " well don't swallow it yo uknow how jehovah feels about blood don't you!".

  a few weeks ago i was helping my grandmother in her yard and she started preaching... long story short, "you know, jesus tells the remnant (she calls them remnant but she meant the ones that are already in heaven) our prayers and they help us because they can sympathize with our weaknesses"... i went home and asked my mom if grandma was senile or apostate... then my mom called her to get mad that she preached to me while i was helping out with yardwork. (my mother is a staunch Jdub, but she knows that it's rude to bite the hand that feeds, or in this case, helps u.)

  p.s. my mom also got mad at her for offering me carrot juice instead of a beer. YA!
